Written By: Chris Carter Television production crews from both a legitimate production company as well as another production company that uses YouTube to distribute its work have been approaching chapters to do programs featuring fraternities and their parties. Non-Sigma Pi fraternity chapters on the West coast, the Carolinas and Ohio have been targeted.
Clearly, the production companies have no interest in doing more than reinforcing the stereotype of “frat life.”
If your chapter is contacted by any production company wanting to film or do any production in your chapter house or with your brothers, let your Educational Leadership Consultant know immediately. Unless it is a special Executive Office production, Sigma Pi does not allow any outside production of chapters or chapter houses.
