Annual Meeting Notice

All members of the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation are invited to attend the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Foundation on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Central. The meeting will take place virtually through Zoom Video Communications. A connection link and phone conference bridge will be relayed to members of the Foundation, along with instructions for voting.

New board members will be elected at this meeting. There will also be Bylaw updates presented for approval that will be provided prior to the meeting.

Call for Candidates

The SPEF is seeking Candidates to fill up to nine open positions on the Board of Trustees with terms beginning in August 2020. (Six four-year terms, Three two-year terms) The election will be held during the Annual Meeting.

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the oversight of administration for the Foundation, will exercise financial stewardship, establish and enforce policies and procedures, and perform other duties with authority over the affairs of the Foundation.

Trustees must be members of the Foundation and will be expected to attend monthly conferences, either by phone or virtually, except for two months each year when the Board will meet in person. Financial commitment as a donor to the Foundation is also required, as set by the Board.

Potential Candidates must complete and sign a Conflict of Interest Form and Responsibility Declaration.
