Sigma Pi Fraternity announces alumnus Jason Beck (Alpha-Phi, Georgia ’93) has been hired as Director of Alumni Services.

“We are excited to add Jason to the Executive Office team. He brings instant credibility to our Alumni Services program. Jason has served as a long time volunteer in roles such as Chapter Director and Province Archon, a facilitator and speaker at many of our national conventions and leadership schools, an active member of various Sigma Pi committees, and founding father of his own chapter at the University of Georgia,” said Michael Ayalon, Executive Director.

“Jason’s well documented commitment to Sigma Pi, his excellent communication skills, and familiarity with our existing chapters and alumni will lead him to great success in his new role. It’s an honor to add Jason to our team.”

Jason will manage a comprehensive program of alumni activities and events to retain positive relationships with graduating students and former alumni and to encourage their continued financial support, volunteering, and active participation in alumni affairs of the Fraternity. In this role, Jason will assess and improve effectiveness of various alumni activities such as Alumni Clubs, Alumni Advisory Boards, Chapter Directors, and Province Archons.

Jason will maintain an active year-round travel schedule to act as Sigma Pi representative in assisting and forming regional based alumni clubs in major cities.

“Sometimes, I’m asked by non-Greeks why I’ve continued to be an active alumni volunteer.  My answer is simple.  I want to give back to the organization that I got so much out of as an undergraduate.  Becoming Director of Alumni Services is just another way that I can help Sigma Pi,” said Jason Beck. “If we make sure that undergraduates have great, positive experiences like I had – they’ll become great alumni.  They’ll be the Chapter Directors, Province Archons, alumni board members, House Corporation members, and Foundation donors of the future.”

Jason will start his new role on June 3. He can be reached at jbeck@sigmapi.org.
