Objective

Promote a brotherhood for undergraduate members to experience life-changing moments through personal growth, a sense of pride for their community, and a lifelong affinity for Sigma Pi.

Goals

  • Provide collegiate chapters with the tools and resources to ensure 85% of new members become initiated brothers of Sigma Pi, resulting in a strong class of men to usher in the next era of the fraternity.
  • Encourage undergraduate members to be involved in other student organizations on campus and in their community in order for each member to have meaningful and well-rounded relationships with their college or university.
  • Ensure collegiate chapters establish partnerships with local agencies in their community to further expand the philanthropic reach and amplify the importance of service as a core value of Sigma Pi members.

Results to Date

PLANNING PHASE
The New Member Experience will onboard new members through a standardized process, with the goal of preparing them for chapter membership and leadership. The success of the program will be evaluated through semesterly surveys of the members’ perspectives, beginning in 2023-2024 — with results used to identify areas for improvement

PLANNING PHASE
Developing programming regarding the importance of having an on-campus presence, in relation to seeing success within the local community. Data is being tracked via the Quarterly Report, and be available toward to end of the 2023-2024 academic year.

PLANNING PHASE
Communicating with colleagues to find the most efficient method of relaying outreach programming to undergraduate chapters. Developing programming to guide a Chapter through getting involved within the community, through various different facets.
