Objective

Provide undergraduate members with top-of-line leadership and training programs which help establish their readiness to successfully transition into their appointed roles and lead their chapters as exemplary members.

Goals

  • An average of 80% of collegiate officers will attend Virtual MYLC, Back to School and Tony Siress Leadership Summit, programs which build confidence and understanding of various leadership styles in order to become well-rounded, effective, and empowered leaders.
  • Provide undergraduate members with access to a comprehensive library of educational materials and resources to expand their skills as leaders within the fraternity, in the classroom, and beyond.
  • Every collegiate chapter will attend their province and regional leadership programs where they will acquire essential skills, such as how to demonstrate accountability, inclusivity, and respect as leaders and members of Sigma Pi.

Results to Date

PLANNING PHASE
Evaluation taking place currently on how to further/better engage members to increase attendance across all events (BTS, MYLC, TSLS) to 80%

ONGOING
Members are able to access the Sigma Pi Resource Center where there are 100+ resources and more are being evaluated annually for inclusion. Additional resources are available and being considered through strategic partnerships with Plaid and RealWorld

ONGOING
“Sigma Pi Engage” has launched – which is a program focused on its namesake, engaging our members from all walks of life. The main component of “Engage”, is the Province Workshop portion that allows students to network, develop as leaders, and learn pertinent topics about the Fraternity. The 2023-2024 Academic Year will hold 4 Engage events – Chicago, Fayetteville, New Jersey, and Los Angeles – and work is being done to expand further. Chicago resulted in 21 Chapters attending, and by the conclusion in May 2024, over 70% of Sigma Pi Chapters will be touched by this programming.
