40th Anniversary at Epsilon-Epsilon Chapter (Emporia State)

On Saturday, March 5, 2016, 70 alumni, undergrads, and friends gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Epsilon-Epsilon Chapter at Emporia State University.  The celebration was attended by Great Plains Province Archon Chris Ruth (UMSL ’08), Grand Herald Les Wright (Murray State ’70), and Grand First Counselor Steve Lawler (Iowa ’82). Highlights from the evening included celebrating that all undergraduates present were sponsored for dinner and that the chapter is in good financial standing. Many Alumni had not been back to Emporia, KS since the retiring of the long time chapter cook and it was great to see them back. The chapter is hoping that this event will serve as a launching point for increased alumni involvement in the chapter.
