NASHVILLE, TN – September 14, 2026 – Sigma Pi Fraternity is proud to announce the appointment of Jason Walker (Georgia ’92) as the Appalachian Province Archon.
“Jason brings a strong combination of Fraternity leadership, professional experience, and a deep connection to the undergraduate chapter experience,” said Grand First Counselor Todd Griffin (East Carolina ’90), who previously held the role since 2019. “His previous service as a Province Archon, Chapter Advisor, and member of the Executive Office staff gives him a valuable perspective as he moves into this role. I look forward to seeing Jason work alongside our chapter leaders and volunteers to strengthen the member experience throughout the province.”

Walker has served Sigma Pi in numerous leadership roles throughout his membership. He was a Re-Founding Father of Alpha-Phi Chapter at the University of Georgia in 1992, where he served as Brotherhood Chair and Third Counselor. He later served as Chapter Advisor for Alpha-Phi Chapter and as Province Archon of the South Atlantic Province.
Walker also spent five years on the staff of Sigma Pi Fraternity, including serving as Executive Director from 2016–2017 and as staff liaison to the Ritual Committee.
Professionally, Walker brings extensive experience in operations, property management, and project management. He spent 19 years with Publix Super Markets and two years working in fraternity and sorority property management with CSL Management. For the past seven years, he has worked with Alpha Omicron Pi, first as Director of Property Management and currently as Associate Director of Project Management.
“I look forward to re-engaging with the Brotherhood that changed my life,” Walker said. “This role excites me as I will have the opportunity to encourage and support our brothers as well as work to define what the Province Archon role will be in the future.”
