LEBANON, TN – Sigma Pi Fraternity, International is pleased to announce Jonathan Frost (UMSL ’02) as the ninth Executive Director of the Fraternity, effective July 24, 2017. ED Frost will oversee both Sigma Pi Fraternity and the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation, including implementing the strategic plans of the organizations, training staff, and securing major gifts.
“I am excited about the opportunity to lead an organization that changed my life as a young man, and of which I have spent many years of my career dedicated to previously,” said Frost. “I look forward to working with our staff and volunteers in order to advance the Fraternity’s ideals.”
With more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit and higher education leadership, ED Frost served most recently as the Director of Alumni Relations for Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. In this role, he grew and sustained alumni connectivity to Owen by working with the entire alumni population in order to create innovative and meaningful connections in the alumni community. Previously, ED Frost served as the Assistant Vice President for Development at Fisk University and was responsible for oversight of the central component of expendable support for Fisk University, known as The Fisk Fund.
Prior to his time at Fisk, ED Frost served as the Chief Operations Officer for the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation, and Assistant Executive Director for Sigma Pi Fraternity. He brings extensive experience working with alumni relations and fostering value-added relationships. In these roles, ED Frost trained staff and volunteers, and traveled across North America visiting chapters.

Dr. Jay Joern (Missouri ’72), Chairman of the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation added, “I am pleased that the Grand Council and the Foundation Board of Trustees are stepping into the future together by uniting our efforts behind one Executive Director for the betterment of the Fraternity.”
ED Frost obtained his undergraduate degree in special education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and his MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. In addition, he has received his certification in nonprofit management from the Center for Nonprofit Management.
ED Frost has lived in Nashville for more than 15 years, where he resides with his wife, Jill Frost, a licensed attorney with Paparelli Law, PLLC and their four-year-old daughter Kate.
