NASHVILLE, TN – Sigma Pi Fraternity announced Alexander Pettigrew (IUP ’15) as Chief Growth Officer, effective April 21, 2026.
In this role, Pettigrew will lead the organization’s growth strategy, with a focus on expanding membership, strengthening retention, and supporting member development. He will oversee cross-functional initiatives across support, expansion, events, and programming to accelerate growth and strengthen alignment amongst teams. Pettigrew will guide the execution of short- and long-term, data-informed strategies designed to elevate the member experience, expand access to resources and programming, enhance chapter and colony performance, and increase overall membership along with organizational reach.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step up and into this role as Chief Growth Officer,” said Pettigrew. “I believe we are in a position where we can capitalize on scaling up the size, experience, and reach of the membership of this organization. To that, I’m looking forward to leading the development and execution of those efforts across the country.”
Since graduating in 2018, Pettigrew has advanced through key leadership roles within the Fraternity, reflecting a consistent record of performance and impact. He most recently served as Vice President of Business Development, where he led initiatives focused on organizational growth, program innovation, and performance.
Prior to that role, he previously served as Director of Programs and Director of Education and Programs, where he expanded national programming and strengthened member development efforts. He began his tenure at the national level by serving as a Chapter Management Associate, supporting chapter operations and enhancing the member experience.
