Dennis Rabanal (Fullerton, CA ’92) Proudly Supports Sigma Pi

“Sigma Pi gave us more than experiences. It gave us a shared language, a support system, and friendships that grow with us.”
Alumni involvement helps Sigma Pi undergraduates open new doors and grow through the brotherhood. Dennis Rabanal (Fullerton, CA ’92) cherishes his Fraternity experience and hopes his financial support can help collegians make the most of their Sigma Pi membership.
Personal Growth
Dennis joined Sigma Pi after seeing its impact on his brother, Henry Rabanal (Cal Poly ’89). He was proud to wear the Fraternity’s letters around campus and lead as Epsilon-Nu Chapter president after winning the election over close friend Brent Holmes (Fullerton, CA ’93). “Brent was the first to stand up and congratulate me. That moment said more about Sigma Pi than any ritual or speech ever could.”
After his life-changing collegiate years, Dennis has spent 25 years in the financial industry and gained a rounded perspective on leadership and impact. He has been responsible for implementing and overseeing global banking regulations in senior executive roles to keep financial institutions safe, stable, and honest.
“As my career evolved, so did my understanding of growth. Each executive role brought new challenges,” he added. “Today, my focus is on continually raising the bar, strengthening the organizations I serve, and creating space for others to thrive right alongside me.”
Fraternal Commitment
Dennis’ financial support for the Fraternity is deeply personal. He had to balance a job and a full course load to stay afloat in college, though he never questioned the value of his Sigma Pi membership.
“I hope to create opportunities that might not otherwise be available to today’s members,” he said. “I want to help today’s members say yes to experiences that challenge them, inspire them, and help them grow without the worry of whether they can afford it.”
Dennis encourages fellow alumni to consider investing in today’s students who will carry forward the time-tested bonds of Sigma Pi brotherhood. You can connect with him at denrab@gmail.com.
