Written By: Chris Carter LEBANON, TN – The Executive Office of Sigma Pi Fraternity, International is proud to announce the hiring of two new Regional Directors – Dalton Reeves (Missouri State ’15) and Zachary Littrell (UMSL ’15).
The Regional Director is broadly charged with strategically developing Sigma Pi in size and operational strength in one of the regions of the Fraternity. They will also serve as the primary contact for their chapters, colonies, alumni associations, housing corporations, host institutions, and members within each established region.
“I’m proud to welcome these two dedicated Sigma Pi brothers to our team,” said Executive Director Jason Walker (Georgia ’96). “I’ve seen both of these men grow over the last several years. With Dalton continuing on staff in a new role and Zachary—who was instrumental in the success of his chapter as Sage—joining staff, our Regional Director program will continue to excel and provide our membership with the valuable resources they need to succeed.”
Reeves continues his time on the Executive Office staff, where he previously served as Growth Specialist since 2015. Reeves is a 2015 graduated of Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting and a bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. As a Founding Father of the re-established Alpha-Rho Chapter, Reeves completed terms as Philanthropy Chair, Recruitment, 2nd Counselor, and Sage, where he helped build a foundation for the successful chapter. Reeves also played an intricate part in the campus community through Dance Marathon, Residence Hall Association, Student Government, and was awarded Senior of the Year for his work in the fraternity and sorority life community. After graduation, Reeves came on staff as an Expansion Consultant, working closely with Colorado State University’s colony, and soon to be chapter, and helped colonize the now East Carolina University Eta-Kappa Chapter and Illinois Wesleyan University’s Epsilon-Gamma colony. Through a change in title, Reeves began his work as the new Growth Specialist, where he helped improve Colonizations and New Colonies, as well as improving our already existing chapters. Through this past year, Reeves has helped colonize the Illinois State University’s Eta-Epsilon colony and the Ohio Northern University’s Zeta colony. It is through his three years as an undergraduate member and two years on staff that Reeves is excited and ready to bring Sigma Pi further.
“After working so closely with colonies and new groups,” Reeves said, “I am ready to impact our existing chapters to not only increase recruitment numbers, SOE scores, and service hours, but to start building lifelong friendships and relationships that will move our organization forward.”
Littrell is an initiate of Delta-Zeta Chapter at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he received his bachelor’s of science in Biology. Littrell will also receive his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2017. During his time at Southeast, Zachary served as a Graduate Assistant for Greek Life,has interned with Southeast’s Office of New Student Programs and Stanford University’s High School Summer College, and has had the opportunity to facilitate with different universities and fraternities. Littrell holds or has held membership in the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors, NASPA, and NODA.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to work as a Regional Director for the Fraternity,” Littrell said. “I’ve had the opportunity to work on the campus side of the partnership, so I’m ready to take what I have learned and work towards the betterment of the membership of Sigma Pi.”
