We are excited to announce the soft launch of the Sigma Pi Job Board through mySigmaPi which is available to all Sigma Pi members and their families (family access will begin in summer 2013) – meaning your spouse, parents, son or daughter will be able to take advantage of the Sigma Pi Job Board as well for posting open jobs or job hunting.
We encourage you to log-in to mySigmaPi at www.mysigmapi.com or from the top right link on www.sigmapi.org. If it is your first time to log in, you will click “register for access” and complete the short form to set up your username and password. Once you log in, you can access the Job Board in the left column under “Communications.”
This is a free service, including posting jobs, so every member should take advantage of the ability to network within the Sigma Pi brotherhood.
You can quickly import your resume from your LinkedIn profile and in “my settings” control when your resume and contact information is visible.
The Job Board features include:
Latest Jobs – List of jobs posted within the last 10 days.
Jobs I’ve Posted – Jobs posted by the user
Job Searches – Search for jobs that have been posted to the Job Board by other mySigmaPi users. Users can save specific search criteria to ensure any jobs that are posted in the future that meet the selected criteria, will be included in the results set. Users are notified when new jobs appear in their saved searches.
Job Favorites – Listing of jobs the user has identified. A star appears in the Actions column for each posted job. Selecting that star, will add the job to the users favorites.
People Searches – Search for people that have synced their Linkedin accounts to the Job Board. Users can save specific search criteria to ensure any new people that meet the selected criteria, will be included in the results set. Users are notified when new people appear in their saved searches.
People Favorites – Listing of people the user has identified. A star appears in the Actions column for each posted job. Selecting that star, will add the job to the users favorites.
