Written By: Chris Carter You are cordially invited to attend the Initiation and Chartering Ceremonies for the re-chartering of Sigma Pi at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. The Beta-Nu Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity International will be installed and the founding fathers will be initiated on Saturday, May 4th.
Initiation Ceremony – Saturday, May 4, 2013, Noon
The initiation ceremonies will take place at the Southern Illinois University Student Center in Ballroom C. The ritual ceremonies will commence at 12:00 PM and we ask that those interested in attending please arrive no later than 11:30 AM.
Chartering Banquet – Saturday, May 4, 2013, 6:00 pm
The chartering banquet, a celebration of the hard work that the founding fathers of Beta-Nu Chapter have put in will take place later that evening at Blue Sky Vineyards. The banquet will start at 6pm and end approximately at 10pm.

The ritual as well as the banquet will be a coat and tie event. If you are interested in attending either or both of these celebratory activities, please RSVP on or before April 19, 2013. Entrance into the initiation is limited to initiated undergraduate and alumni members of Sigma Pi, however all are welcome to attend the chartering banquet. Space is limited however, so please RSVP before the April 19th deadline. A $25/plate donation will be required for all attending the banquet (check or cash is acceptable, all checks should be made out to Sigma Pi
