The Sigma Pi Young Alumni Volunteer Award may be awarded to a Sigma Pi alumnus, who over the course of a Biennium has demonstrated outstanding service as a volunteer to the national fraternity, Sigma Pi colony or chapter, and/or their college’s Greek system. Eligible nominees must be between the ages of 22 and 35 years-old by July 1st of the Biennium Convocation Year; and must be a Sigma Pi Alumnus in good standing with the national fraternity; as well as having earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree by July 1st of the Biennium Convocation Year. Nominations may be made to the Sigma Pi Alumni Services Director by June 1st of the Biennium Convocation Calendar Year and must include a 250 word essay describing how the nominee has met the requirements of this award and demonstrated Sigma Pi’s values and ideals as a volunteer. Province Archon’s & Colony/Chapter Directors who are recognized by the National Office are ineligible for this award.
